It was a quiet but memorable soft launching of Tita M Wanders' first workshop, "Memory as Map: Storytelling Rooted in Place and Feeling" last September 16, 2025, Tuesday in Balay Sueño, Jaro, Iloilo City.

A Workshop Inspired by this Filipino Blog

Attended by tumandoks (born and raised sons and daughters), all seniors, of Iloilo City who all willingly came to learn what memory mapping means. The workshop that was inspired by this Filipino blog.

The five indeed wrote and gave voice to personal stories that waited in long silence. Kudos to Nenita Casas, Maribel Fasoy, Marian Schwarzer, Amy Amparado and Mildred Vergara who braved the heat and later the rain to make the workshop fun and enjoyable. Grateful appreciation, too, to the staff of Balay Sueño who served our whims effortlessly and happily.
