Can One Person Really Build a Business With AI?

I don’t know. Let’s find out!

Can one person really build a business with AI?

Hmm. I don’t know. But I do have an e-book sitting on my website that might help me find out! ๐Ÿ˜‚

It’s called The Taste of Profit: Six High-ROI Business Models Inspired by The Taste of Memory: Culinary Journeys That Stay With You.

Yes, quite a mouthful of a title, isn’t it? ๐Ÿคฃ

But before you think I had some grand business plan, let me tell you how this all began.

It started with a story about food

On September 24, 2025, I published an article on Tita M Wanders called The Taste of Memory: Culinary Journeys That Stay With You.

I was inspired by my love of food and culture, my Iloilo roots, and the wonderful culinary traditions that make a place special.

Around that time, Iloilo City was buzzing with activities connected to Dinagyang. Food has always been an important part of the festivities, with culinary tours, food festivals, and all sorts of delicious discoveries waiting for locals and visitors alike.

Growing up in Iloilo, food was never just food to me. My mother was a cook, and our family had experience running a restaurant, a carinderia, and canteens serving schools and offices.

So, naturally, I was curious about the stories behind the dishes we eat, the traditions we inherit, and the culinary heritage that makes every region distinctive.

Then Google AI entered the picture

At some point, Google AI turned my article about a heritage house into a storybook.

That was interesting enough. But then I began wondering what else I could do with AI.

So I asked Google AI what businesses one could start from that article, The Taste of Memory: Culinary Journeys That Stay With You.

And that was how The Taste of Profit began to take shape.

Google AI suggested six business ideas. But it wasn’t as simple as asking one question and receiving a ready-made book. ๐Ÿ˜‚

There were questions, answers, more questions, scenarios, suggestions, and ideas bouncing back and forth. I contributed my own thoughts, challenged possibilities, and explored different directions.

Eventually, those conversations became an e-book featuring six business models inspired by the original article.

One idea particularly caught my imagination: The Edible History Archive, a digital collection of regional food stories, recipes, photographs, and culinary history.

I imagined starting with Iloilo and eventually expanding to other Philippine regions.

I could actually see myself launching that idea!

But life had other plans. I was learning WordPress, trying to get my website into shape, and exploring other things. I felt I was spreading myself too thin, and I didn’t have the time and energy to pursue another project properly.

So, the e-book went onto my website, and I moved on.

An e-book waiting for another look

I have to confess something. I haven’t given The Taste of Profit much thought lately. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I created it while exploring ideas and learning to build my website. It was an experiment, really, rather than the beginning of a business I actively pursued.

Recently, though, I picked it up again and wondered: what if I used it to explore a question I’ve become increasingly curious about?

Can AI help one person turn an existing idea into a business?

I don’t know the answer. But I have an e-book, a website, and a little curiosity. That sounds like a reasonable place to start, doesn’t it? ๐Ÿ˜

Let’s try something real

Rather than ask AI to invent another business idea, I decided to return to one of the six models in the book.

I’m going to explore The Edible History Archive.

But here’s the thing: I’m not going to start by building a digital archive, collecting hundreds of recipes, or spending money on a new project.

First, I want to find out whether people are interested in the idea.

Would food and culture enthusiasts enjoy discovering the stories behind regional Filipino dishes? Would they want to read about the traditions, people, ingredients, and history behind the food they love? Would they be interested enough to ask for more?

I plan to start with a simple blog article on Tita M Wanders and share it on the site’s Facebook page.

Then I’ll observe what happens.

Will people read it? Will they share their own food stories? Will they ask questions or express interest in seeing more?

I don’t know. Let’s find out!

Of course, a few comments or likes won’t prove that a business can make money. And if the response is quiet, that won’t automatically mean the idea is bad. We’ll need to look at the evidence and consider what it actually tells us.

But that’s precisely why I want to try.

What can one person do with AI?

I’m not setting out to prove that AI can build a successful business for me. That would be getting ahead of myself.

Instead, I want to explore how AI can help me think through an idea, identify an audience, prepare content, and examine the responseโ€”while I make the decisions and do the actual work.

Perhaps I’ll discover a useful opportunity. Perhaps I’ll uncover problems I hadn’t considered. Perhaps the experiment will lead somewhere unexpected.

Whatever happens, I want to document the process honestly.

After all, I’m not an AI expert, and I’m certainly not claiming to have a formula for entrepreneurial success.

I’m simply someone who enjoys learning, creating, and exploring possibilities.

And now I have a new question to investigate.

Can one person really build a business with AI?

Hmm. I still don’t know.

Let’s find out!

Welcome to my AI adventure. Come along for the ride!
